At Unwaste, we give plastic waste a second life.

Did you know that only 5% of plastics are actually recycled?

Each year, we produce hundreds of millions of tons of plastic, with most of it designed for single use. Around 85% ends up in landfills, and another 10% is burned, releasing more pollution into the atmosphere.

It’s especially frustrating because polypropylene (#5 plastic), used in food containers, yogurt tubs, and medical caps, is a durable, high-quality material that could easily be repurposed beyond its first use.
